By Air : Gaggal airport is the nearest airport which is just 7 km away from Kangra.

By Rail : Kangra doesn’t have a railway station of its own unfortunately and the nearest railway station is Pathankot, which is approximately 86 km from Kangra. Another nearby railway station is the Mukarian Station, 30 km from the town. Kangra Valley Express is a blessing for tourists visiting the area as it operates between Pathankot and Bajinath.

By Road :Regular buses ply to Kangra from major places like Delhi and Kanpur. State buses ply at regular intervals, especially from Delhi. Volvo buses are available too. These are buses with comfortable seats and planned stoppages. For passengers who don’t want to compromise on their comfort zones just to travel via buses, there are luxury buses available too. People who enjoy the journey more than reaching the destination should definitely go for this adventure. However it can be tiring for some people as Himachal is quite far away and luxury buses can’t ensure comfort in a very long journey.
