Things To Do at Agonda Beach
There is a long straight lane that runs parallel to the Agonda Beach. This road has most of the hotels and accommodations available for the travellers. Agonda Church is located in the centre of the beach, which also has the Agonda University (which is a small high school) to its right. You can spot a few sunbeds lying on the beach, which can be rented for relaxing and sunbathing. However, on arrival of the tourist police or Canacona local government officials, these sunbeds are instantly removed and kept inside; making the beach even more gorgeous.
Many tourists visit this beach at night to witness the turtles as this beach is their nesting ground. However, make sure to keep your voices to the minimum and not flash any strong lights to make these endangered creatures uncomfortable or scare them away. Best Time To Visit Agonda Beach
The stunning beach serves as a nesting ground for olive ridley sea turtles during September. The temperature here is quite warm throughout the year. The nights are a bit chilly from December until February. There is quite good rainfall from June to August, the best time for tourists to visit Agonda Beach if from late October until March end.
How to Reach Agonda Beach
