By Rail : Dimapur also happens to be the home to the only railway station in Nagaland as well. But it is only connected to Kolkata and Guwahati. Tourists will have to first get down at Guwahati, and then take an another train to reach Dimapur to kick start holiday in Northeast.

By Road : National Highway 39 that runs through Dimapur connects Kohima, Imphal and the Myanmar border at Moreh. NH 36 starting from Dimapur connects Doboka and later Guwahati via NH 37. To reach from one sightseeing places to other, one can easily find Auto Rickshaws or rickshaws.
